Christmas in London

Traveling to London, England was a dream come true for the both of us. We spent 8 days learning about the city's rich history and soaking up its culture.

We stayed at the Corus Hyde park which was a comfortable and an appropriately rated 3 star hotel. The staff was both helpful and courteous. Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed spending Christmas (2007) enduring colder temperatures. Once you've seen Santa in bermuda shorts and it's 80 degrees outside, you're good for the rest of your life!

Visiting Picadilly Circus was a lot of fun. It reminded me of Times Square so I found it refreshing and easy to navigate even with a young child.

Trafalgar Square was one of the stops of the Original Trolley tour so we hopped off. In this photo, Angie and I are taking it all in.

We weren't prepared for the huge crowd (Dec 2007) at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. It was out of control and chaotic. The crowd/tourists acted as if the actual celebrities (especially Brad+Angelina) were there in person. Good grief!

We spent our last day in London taking in views from British Airways London Eye. The views from that height were spectacular. We can't wait to return.
